Game mode
Racer
A quiz race. Each right answer moves you along the track, solo or in teams.
- Solo or in teams
- Phones, tablets or laptops
- Free to host, and students need no account
How to win
Only one teammate has the correct answer on their screen. Talk to each other to find it.
Playing solo: Answer every card correctly in a row to reach the finish. One wrong answer sends you back to the start.
What happens in a game
- Split answersEach teammate sees different options — only one person has the right one
- Talk it throughYou must talk to your team to figure out who has the correct answer
- Team setbackWrong answer resets the whole team — make sure before you tap
- First team winsThe first team to complete all cards wins the race
Why it works in a lesson
Racer is built for teamwork. In team mode, every member's correct answers push the team forward. Stronger students naturally help weaker ones — not by giving answers, but by creating momentum. It makes revision feel like a game, not a test.
The other game modes
Every mode plays from the same card set, so changing mode never means rewriting questions.
Boss BattleThe whole class fights one boss. Right answers hit it, wrong ones heal it.
KaboomAnswer right to pass the bomb on. Hold it when it goes off and your points go to everyone else.
SabotageRight answers earn coins and cards that freeze, steal, swap or shield.
ThroneOne student holds the throne and the rest of the class tries to take it.
SplycrQuick-fire questions. A streak stacks your multiplier up to three times.
CryoA frozen arena of frost charges. Answer a question to reload.
OutbreakA first-person zombie arena for laptops. Answer right to get back in.
